		<description>We&#039;re limited by our isolated perceptions. Mostly I think about this type of thing in regards to the mixed feelings on collaborative design:  &lt;br&gt;1) getting something watered down or mediocre instead of stylish/memorable&lt;br&gt;2) smoothing out rough edges&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My take on it, a small group of folks dedicated to building something of value can have their cake and eat it to. You get the advantage of multiple perspectives to catch inconsistencies in assumptions from isolated views. And you have a small enough group so that individual style choices can be protected, as long as the those involved respect each other&#039;s creative efforts.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I think that&#039;s why startups continue to be a competitive force, 3-5 folks working hard at a shared vision without all the rules/requirements etc. from higher managers, an existing customer base, or inherited code bases.</description>
